Monthly Health Lecture Series for Women and Children
Anthem, AZ - 1/14/09 –East-West Integrated Healthcare and Curves of Anthem/New River are hosting Natural Medicine with Dr. Jen, a health lecture series to help women and their families gain and sustain healthy lifestyles.
Natural Medicine with Dr. Jen is a series of FREE educational gatherings that teach health conscious women how to experience optimal wellness using natural healthcare strategies. Natural Medicine with Dr. Jen monthly seminars will be offered the last Wednesday of the month at 7 PM at Curves of Anthem, located at 42323 N Vision Way Suite 105, Anthem AZ 85086. The topics covered are holistic in nature and deal with both the physical and emotional aspects of wellness.
The series features Jennifer Calvo, doctor of naturopathic medicine (NMD) and Director of the Western Clinical Science Department at Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, who will lead discussions on a wide range of health topics. All lectures are all free and open to the public. Series currently planned include the following topics:

- March 25: Menopause, Aging and Natural Hormone Replacement options
- April 29: Weight, Fatigue and Hypothyroid-Thyroid

- July 23: Weight, Fatigue and Thyroid Disease
